Lara Grant is a fashion and textile designer, pattern maker, costume fabricator, seamstress and a teacher. She also builds alternative controllers using soft circuitry and e-textile design and is currently working with Final Frontier Designs redesigning and fabricating pressure garments for spacesuits and spacesuit gloves.

She got her BFA in Fashion and Textile Design in San Francisco at the Academy of Art University and has an MPS from NYU in Interactive Telecommunications with a focus in Wearable Technology.
