The instability of a soft circuit. My digital switches are going hay-wire.

Untitled from lara grant on Vimeo.

After swapping my thread and fabric circuit for hard wire, the switches are dutiful and do not close until I connect them by sewing through with conductive thread. They ended up turning into an interesting kind of stretch sensor, which I play with a bit in the vid. You can still hear a couple stray notes being triggered after I remove the thread. Compared though, a vast improvement.

I sew darts in at the top, these are not hooked up to any sound, I am testing to see what values come from them since I hooked them up to be a potentiometer. They didn’t wield a large range of resistance, something like ~8 ohms.

once playing video rights itself!
